Places-To-Eat in Phnom Penh: For lunch today, I ate at One Kitchen, a modern Khmer restaurant just a few minutes' walk from my apartment in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They serve both Khmer and Western food in a casual dining atmosphere. Located in the BKK1 area, the restaurant offers a comfortable and modern dining space with both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Their menu highlights include traditional Khmer dishes featuring local ingredients and authentic recipes, along with Asian and Western dishes like pasta, sandwiches, and burgers, with reasonable prices averaging around $4.00. From their extensive menu, I tried the "Khmer Grilled Beef Salad with Herbs" and "Bai Cha Kapi" (Shrimp Paste Fried Rice).

Popular Dishes
Some of their most recommended Khmer dishes include:
Grilled Catfish With Noodles and Prahok Sauce
Fresh Vegetable With Prahok Dip
Fresh Vegetable With Teuk Kroeung
Fresh Vegetable With Prahok Ktes
*Note: Prahok is a fermented fish paste used in dips and sauces. Teuk Kroeung is a mixture of herbs and spices
